ABOUT ME

Tom Williams is Executive Dean of Education at ACM and holds a PhD in musical improvisation and strategy.

​

He has over 20 years’ experience teaching across all ages, abilities, further and higher education, alongside private coaching, working with players from beginner level through to those entering the profession.

​

In addition to live performance, Tom is also an active researcher specialising in improvisation, guitar, jazz and analysis methodologies.
